My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. For reference, the two of us on our queen double pillow top mattress with four additional mattress tops are roughly 650lbs all together. This split frame easily holds all of the combined weight. This bed frame is great! I really enjoy not having to deal with a box spring anymore & the storage space underneath is wonderful. My only complaint is the skirt portion. It's difficult to put it on & makes the storage space inaccessible unless you remove the mattress first. Once I realized it I took it off & purchased a removable skirt from a different company.
