The tub is perfect. I had to look through 100’s to find this size. It fits perfectly in my space after downsizing my vanity. I am 5’5”, and it is very comfortable. The water covers my chest. I was in search of a free standing tub that had completely straight/square sides versus the many that are sold with curves and angles. I needed this to fit in a corner without leaving spaces between the tub and wall that would either trap water or dust. This was the the one squared tub that I found within my price range, with others being 2-3 times as much for some reason, so I bought it in the only version available at the time (glossy gray). It's here now, I've opened the box to take a look and it is really beautiful and substantial while also being a foot shorter in length than the alcove tub it's replacing (space that I was eager to gain in a small bathroom). I'm really excited to get it installed and will be putting in a fixed glass panel on the non-wall end and a pivoting glass panel door along the exposed side since it will get the most use as a shower. Only 4 stars because we have never used the tub to actually take a bath. Chose this size and shape during the remodel of our master bath and it worked really well in the space, which previously had a corner garden tub. Plumber had an easy time getting it in and it’s genuinely heavy enough that it doesn’t wobble or move at all. Bathroom remodel and just had to pick this free standing tub for a small space! It has one straight side to push against the wall and the 2 sides taper in to make it easy to clean the sides of the trunk and not behind it! Since it's flat against the wall ! And you don't need that free standing water faucet screwed to the floor collecting dust! With this new flat sided tub, you can mount your bath fixtures in the wall in the middle of the tube instead of one end. You see...by mounting fixture in the middle you can relax up against both ends and and not hit your head on the fixtures. Lol and you can also make it a 2 person tub??!! Oh my!!!
