if you need a sit-stand desk for your home office that won't break the bank, this is the option for you. My company offers ergonomic online consults and noticed my old-fashioned leather top wood desk was too high for my height. Therefore, she recommended I get a sit/stand desk as it will be lower and will give me the option to stand during the day esp. meetings. The company does pay for them, so it was an added bonus. This one was a good option. This Inbox Zero Lorentz sit‑stand desk showed up in two very heavy boxes (around 90 lbs each), so the delivery alone felt like a mini workout. Building it solo with ADHD took a few hours and a couple of “rewind and fix” moments, but the instructions were clear—I just managed to overlook a few things along the way. Once assembled, the quality really shows. The drawers and cabinet close cleanly, the desk raises and lowers quietly and smoothly, and the larger size gives me plenty of room for both work and gaming. The only confusing part was the wire hiders underneath—usually there are markings for screw placement, but this one had none. I also wish the cabinet had cable holes in the back or middle. This is together now but it took 8.5 hours. The directions were fine and all the pieces were here but it was delivered in a crushed box with most of the pieces unwrapped. See picture. It is almost a lot smaller than it looks in pictures - the image with the person is definitely distorted - though the dimensions are accurate. Drawers are very small in depth so not much is going to fit in them. It is a decent value for the price but I think there are probably better standing desks out there.. Nicolette. Montville, NJ.
