My husband LOVES watching the birds in the backyard. I thought he would enjoy this bird feeder when the weather is rough and he cannot sit outside. He decided our bedroom window is where he wanted it and proceeded to install. It had a gap on the top that he somehow fixed. I think some cuts were involved. Please be advised that it may need some alterations to fit in your space as well. As far as quality goes, this is an all wooden feeder. It is beautifully made-nice quality. Received as described. We have one resident chickadee that is so picky, it throws a few sunflower seeds out before choosing the one, and flies off with its choice. We installed a frisbee under the bird feeder to catch the chickadee's rejects, and the finches happily eat from the frisbee because their motto is "waste not, want not."
