It is very easy to assemble. While sitting on it, it is firm which I like it. Little disappoint is, it's small in width in sense of sit position. As for example I have other brand sofa almost in the same price range. It has more sit room and space back rest in position but this new one seems to be tightly on this case. I love this small sectional. It is not too big for my small living room. The hidden storage is definitely a plus in keeping this area neat and uncluttered. The material is soft but firm and supportive. My husband however had some difficulty putting this together as it had several pieces to assemble. So if you are not good at putting things together your going to need some help or you are going to have to pay Wayfair to do it. I love having the cup holders and a charging port.
