This gives a separate rating for the table and the Wayfair-arranged assembly. I give the table a 5 rating and the Wayfair-arranged assembly a 0. The table is a Classy, gorgeous piece. The chairs I purchased fit perfectly. I had been concerned they would not fit underneath the table, given the design of the table’s base. That concern was not a problem. The glass top was perfect. The thickness of the glass table top was perfect. I had paid for Wayfair to arrange assembly. It was clearly a two person job. This was vividly stated on the outside of the box, including a diagram on the box. It stated “Heavy Lift “ and also on the box was written in large letters “Very Heavy.” On the appointment date, only one person arrived. He insisted he could do the assembly by himself. Aside from injuring himself, I was concerned the table would be damaged or my floor would be damaged by him breaking a very large, heavy piece of glass on my wood floor. I spoke with Customer Service who agreed it was improper for a single individual to assemble the table. A second appointment was arranged for two days later. I waited all day until 5:45 pm only to have another single individual arrive. When I expressed my concerns and showed him the messages on the box, he readily agreed that he could not do the job alone. I felt I had wasted two days waiting for Wayfair-arranged assembly to occur. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. My assembly charge was refunded and I was left to find installers on my own. Miraculously, I was able to find someone who did an excellent job. [Large Dining Table] This long wood dining table is perfect for seating 6 to 8 people, making it an ideal choice for family gatherings. With dimensions of 78.7" L x 35.4" W x 29.5" H and a maximum weight capacity of 300lb, this kitchen table effortlessly accommodates a variety of delicious dishes for your gatherings.

This was an easy build, clear instructions, and screws pre-organized by type. They recommend having 2 people, but I was able to assemble it by myself. I used an end table [with some books on top] to hold each side rail up to make assembly easy. As for lifting it to face it upright , I grabbed the side rail to lift the table just a little, slid a book under the middle to raise the bottom edge. From there it was easy to turn the table on it's side. After that, I slid the book under it again, lifted it halfway over, then slid around to the opposite side while holding on, to be able to lower it gently. You can do it! I don't have things arranged to my liking in the room yet, but this table will seat 6 people easily! This was a fun DIY project for me. It does come with what feels like a gazillion parts, and the instructions can be a little confusing at one point, so take your time. It took me about 3 hours to assemble everything by myself. Once it was finished, though, the end result was fantastic. I’d rate the sturdiness 910—it’s solid for everyday use—but the appearance is easily on par with dining tables that cost much more. It looks premium and has a great presence in the room.
