I have been looking for the perfect statement clock for my living room shelves and this clock checked all my boxes! It isn’t heavy, but it has good weight so it doesn’t feel cheap. This is a very pretty clock. I got the one with the darker face...the black background. It is not as bright as it is pictured in the write up on the website. I do not think I would have bought it if I had seen it in person, but it is pretty, and I have it hung so I will keep it. I do love the pendulum. Some people had complained about loud ticking...I hear no ticking at all. It keeps good time. I think you would like it, just be aware it is not a bright clock. Perfect for a den or a study.
