Rack was very nice but we used our own screw anchors because the ones that were in the package did not work for us. Other than the screws - the rack is very nice and attractive. Definitely would buy another one or recommend to someone else.

Excellent quality. Placed outside on my fence for my guests to hang their wet towels/bathing suits when leaving the pool area. I know this seems a little over the top, but I will do anything to keep these wet items out of my house.
Very nice, better than the photo here

I was not impressed by the photo on this site for this product, but decided to take a chance. It is actually much nicer than the photo shows; the finish is very high quality and the hooks are nice and big and traditional. I really like the two that we ordered and they have dressed up our entrance way a great deal.
Does it's job well
Sue from Milwaukee, WI
With 3 kids and no place to put backpacks, winter jackets, etc, I was going crazy keeping everything in order. I was desperate to find something to match our kitchen and hallway and looked all over the local stores. I couldn't find anything in the stores that matched, or had the quality I was looking for. I came across this website and took a chance on this rack. I loved that I could pick the type of wood to best match my kitchen. I also really like the look of the brass hooks. My hallway is very narrow, so space is a big issue. This takes up very little of it. The space the bags and jackets takes up is no more than when they were laying all over the hallway floor. I also bought the Wooden Mallet Hall and Coat Rack with five brass hooks in the same color. It was great to be able to get them to match. We hung that one higher for the adults.
Good Quality Coat Rack

Changed my whole house!

We had a ramshackle old coat rack that kept falling over and being in the way. I got two of these "Coat Rack(s) with Five Brass Hooks by Wooden Mallet" and we hung them onto the wall by which the old rack used to stand. It's made a world of difference. The racks themselves were beautiful, but we can't see them for all the coats, hiking poles, hats, jackets, etc., but underneath, it is beautiful! These racks have saved space and given us two hooks for every one. I highly recommend these racks. We were lucky to find studs in our walls measured right for the racks; that usually doesn't happen quite right as we live in a manufactured home.

Sturdy piece with strong hooks. Perfect to make a small space functional
Looks great, tricky to install
BusyBubbe from Chicago, IL
The coat rack is of excellent quality; however, the screws which come with it are not long enough to go through the rack and into the wall enough to secure it. We had to take a trip to the hardware store for longer screws. Also, the predrilled holes are not at standard stud distance so we had to remove one of the hooks, drill behind it, insert a screw into the stud, then reinstall the hook to its base and then secure the other 2 screws for a sturdy installation. But now that it's up, it looks great and works fine and give us much needed additional hanging space in our entryway.

This is a nice and heavy coat rack. I have not been able to install yet because one of the molly bolts was broken.
