Wine Racks

While putting the cabinet together took close to two hours, it really turned out nice. The cherry wood matches well with some of our other cherry furniture, so it seems to be pretty true to color. Our only complaint is that the shelves in the door are not tall enough to fit a handle of liquor. We have to put most of our bottles in the bottom of the case opposite of the wine grid and directly above the wine grid, thus blocking the use of half of the wine glass racking. I love it! While it took me quite a while to put together, it was well worth the time. If I could make any changes to the design it would be the height of the cabinet slots. I can only fit regular size bottles on the bottom one(s) & because of where the second slot starts if you have any longer bottles of wine that stick past the end of the wine rack you won't be able yo close the doors. We had been searching for a wine bar for a couple years. We move often and live in smaller homes at times so we needed to pick something versatile. We were about to purchase a Pottery Barn wine bar and noticed this one online. We were very apprehensive about purchasing online. I have to say it is the best purchase we have made for years. It was fairly easy to put together in about 2 hours. Every piece fit perfect and no problems. Once it was stocked the weight on the doors can bog down their functionality but it is certainly worth this price range. The drawer is perfect for wine charms or other items that you are not sure where to store. A few of our wine glasses do not fit in the stemware slots but most of ours do.The extras have plenty of room to be stored under the hanging glasses. Overall I LOVE it! This bar is of first quality and a beautiful piece of furniture. The bottle racks in the doors are of ample space and easy to access. The rack for the wine glasses and the wine work well also. Over all I am very satisfied with this bar. The only suprise that I have had with this piece is that I had to put it together.
