Rather than tightening each connection completely one by one, loosely connect each (in the order instructed) so that the pieces are all situated, then go back and tighten each all the way. I was worried that this would not be stable enough for heavy coats, but it works fine. I had a couple tipping moments, but only because I was pulling rather than lifting the coats. It looks great--unless you inspect it closely, it looks like it could be wrought iron. Good value for the price. Service Review Delivery was timely and the product arrived in perfect condition. I wish the packaging was a little easier to open (had to wrestle with a box opened and the weird edging reinforcements for some time) and more recyclable. Was this helpful? Yes / No

The color is a muted black but it almost looks brown which makes it blend in nicely with my decor. It is very unusual and adds a cool decorative touch to my entry way. I think it could easily topple over if people started hanging coats just on one side. But that may be the case with all coat racks. Otherwise, it is a good buy.
