The product is comparable to mahogony shoe racks that I saw in a very high end designer catalogue. The "designer" shoe racks were actual furnitue and came assembled. However, my recollection is thay cost hundreds of dollars more. The shoe racks from accent furnitue look similar, are the same dimensions and cost a fraction of the price of the "designer" racks. Since I don't need designer furniture shoe racks in my closet, the Accent Furnitue shoe racks are more than sufficient. They did require some assembly but after the first rack, everything went smoothly. I purchased three sets (each set is two racks that stack). The accent Furnitue racks are also versitile in that they can be stacked three or four (or whatever) high depending on available space.
