I love this rolling pin, I don't see any negatives with it at all. My wife and I own a pie shop I bought one of these for home and more for the pie shop. What I like best about these rolling pins is their heavy weight which makes it a breeze to roll out dough... you just move it and don't even have to press down the weight of it does the work and to the perfect thickness too. I have 2 of the green marble pins too, they were more expensive but you know the only difference is it's green colored, other than that there is no quality difference between the deluxe white marble pins and the green ones, so for the price just get the white one unless you just like the green color. One, the product is heavy... but why wouldnt it be? its MARBLE! That said, if you have the counter space for it, it comes in a lovely cradle that keeps it from rolling all over the place.
I used this twice already to roll out pizza dough and cinnamon rolls. The weight of the rolling pin made my efforts minimal and near effortless. It made rolling out a ball of homemade dough - awesome.
and if you need to put a little back into it the solid weigth of the rolling pin made it easier.
