To roll out dough to the correct thickness you need to use the right rolling pin for the job. Beautiful and functional with its construction. Tapered from the middle to both ends for maximum control, it rolls out the dough thinly by pushing it from the middle, ideal for proper pie crusts that are both tender and flaky. Also great when making homemade pizza, the pin rotates easily around the dough for creating perfect circles. Keep your dough's fate right at the palm of your hands. This beautiful accessory is completely natural, with no varnishes or lacquers. No two are exactly alike due to natural variation in the color of the wood. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher. Never soak or leave water on the wood during drying as it may result in warping over time. Regular application of butcher block oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood.

Beautiful rolling pin exactly as subscribed. It's not heavy so it's light enough to manipulate easily and has very smooth surface making it easy to clean.. Sally. VA. Sun Feb 22 2026

One of three JK Adams pins chosen as America’s test kitchen’s best rolling pins on the market, our French tapered rolling pin has been a favorite of bakers for generations. The French-style tapered design makes this lighter-weight pin easy to maneuver while still providing enough substance to make easy work of any rolling task. Its slightly textured North American hardwood holds a dusting of flour better than any material to ensure non-stick performance.

Rolling pastry goes better with weight behind it, and marble supplies plenty of that. A pin that stays cool suits buttery dough, and this one glides rather than drags. Its base gives it somewhere to sit on the counter rather than rattling around in a drawer, which means it stays within reach on baking days.

Great weight. Susan Cornelius (accardo). Cheyenne. Mon Jul 07 2025

This innovative, beech rolling pin takes the guesswork out of preparing biscuit dough, pizza bases and pastry sheets. It comes with five sets of removable, color-coded rings that raise the rolling surface by different amounts to create the required pastry thickness you need - approximately 2 mm (1/16"), 4 mm (1/6"), 6 mm (1/4"), 8 mm (5/16") or 10 mm (3/8"). Simply twist off the rings you don't need and you're ready to roll. You can even use the pin without any rings if you need to roll even thinner.

Home bakers, roll out! Grab the 21-inch teak wood French rolling pin and get to work with one of the most preferred gadgets of pastry chefs. French-style rolling pins have a distinct, tapered design compared to the straight dowels with ball bearings and end handles. The tapered design provides better weight distribution and control at every angle to flatten and work with the consistency of the dough of any size. At 21 inches, the long body maneuvers smoothly to achieve the desired thinness and diameter of pie crusts, handmade pasta, dumplings, and pastries. Natural-grained teak wood is not only beautiful to leave on your countertop, but it also provides durability and moisture resistance to help alter the taste and texture of the dough. A smooth wood exterior supports the easy transfer of the dough from a floured surface or pastry mat to a pie dish or baking sheet. Hand wash only. Do not soak in water to help prevent splitting. Occasionally apply a thin layer of oil when the teak wood feels rough and dry.
