This pot rack is great! Not only does it free up cabinet space, but it visually warms the room and makes it feel very welcoming. I have about 13 pots/skillets/pans hanging on mine and each one was hung with great concern that it may not hold the weight..but it has! We had few options in our relatively small kitchen as to where we could hang a rack. I like that this one is big enough to hold all my pots and pans but is not so large and shiny that it becomes the focal piece of the kitchen. Price in hammered steel is excellent. Construction excellent. Fits on 32" span. We hung it above our sink which is about 38" span, so we got some long steel bars fabricated to match (pretty closely) the bars on the rack and installed them on the studs at 32" and then hung the rack to those bars. An extra step but we didn't have other options without getting an entire rack made custom. It looks great and it is very sturdy."..." Read more

I read a lot of reviews on the net about how this item was difficult to assemble and mount on the wall. While I do admit the instructions that come in the box are a bit lacking, it really is quite easy to figure out how to mount these pot racks. If you're really stuck, there is an excellent little video on the Rack-It-Up website (www.enclume.com/rackitup/vid.htm) that should answer all your questions. Just interpret the video like you're hanging the rack horizontally instead of vertically (as the video shows). While the physics of weight distribution between vertical and horizontal mounting do indeed differ, it won't matter much if you do the install correctly.Regardless, the finish on the steel is quite durable, and the racks themselves are very sturdy. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to someone with a smaller kitchen who need to maximize their usable space."..." Read more
