This jewelry armoire is a show stopper. It’s so pretty and well made. It’s solid wood and comes mostly assembled. I just had to install the top mirror with a couple screws that are included. I did have to shift things a bit to ensure the door closed fully, but once I determined what needed to be where, Ive had no issues. You also need to be thoughtful about where heavy pieces go to avoid making it front heavy. I added books to the back shelf just in case. This was heavy and awkward to carry. Unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong apartment so I had to schlep it down one set of stairs, to another building, and up another set of stairs…which royally sucked. It was one of the hardest things Ive built solo. Its not that complicated, but it is hard to do on your own because of the height and weight of the main piece. I got it done in about an hour with some planning, but nearly died twice. Try to get help if you can. I think it would be a 20 minute build with two people. It’s really beautiful and like other reviews said, was pretty easy to put together. The only thing is that it looks lighter in color in the pictures so I thought it was going to match my other furniture in the same style but it’s actually darker & more red than it appears in the photos. But it’s okay because it’s really nice and I like it anyway. The armoire was shorter than I anticipated. It arrived in fairly good condition except for an inch and a half scratch in the paint on the top front of the Armoire. I didn't have any white paint so I covered it with white out. If you don't mind bending all the down to the floor to open the bottom drawers and you are able good for you. Fairly easy to assemble and it is beautiful. Rotates nicely and has a ton of storage space. The lock works well and the magnet to hold the door closed is strong (but not too much).
