These fixtures are very slim and attractive. A great alternative to recessed ceiling lights. We have rather narrow hallways on the second floor of our house. I had initially installed recessed lights to avoid obstructing the passage with elaborate sconces or ceiling fixtures. Unfortunately, a lot of heat was lost into the attic. I removed the canned lights, patched the ceiling and installed these very slim fixtures, which also gave a great contemporary look to the hallway. The light is not overpowering as we thought it would be - considering that these are G9 40W they seem to make less light than a recessed 40W incandescent. The screen spreads the light in a more diffused fashion, which works very well in our hallway, but it will not work if you expect a directional effect."..."  Read more

This is the third lighting product I have purchased from Wayfair (Wayfair). I have this light mounted in an 8x12 room and it looks beautiful. I don't like buying lighting at the big box stores because then you end up with lights that everyone else has. I have shopped at lighting stores and if you want something unique, you have to pay through the nose. This light was inexpensive, looks beautiful, and with just two 60 watt bulbs, it lights the room well. The glass is very hefty, not cheesy plastic or thin glass."..."  Read more

This light fixture is exquisite.Very high quality and well made. I think being hand made gives it character. It accommodates two 100W bulbs and gives plenty of well- diffused light. Just one piece of advice, I would put the two light semi flush mount in a smaller room or in the hallway. Bought 2 of these ceiling fixtures to match the Accurian Three Light Convertible Semi Flush Mount in Rubbed Bronze for the dining area. With 2 lights in each fixture, these lights give off exactly the right amount of light needed for other areas. They are an excellent value, 30% cheaper than identical fixtures found at local chain hardward stores and have a very high quality look. Because these are mounted to the ceiling, it is an easier job IF 2 people are doing the work because of the strain on neck and shoulders.
