The three-wheel T-shaped design is good in that it allows the table to be positioned nearer to your chair or sofa. It will work best at the end of a sofa, with the 90 degree angle of the "T" flush with the two sides of the sofa, and it is reversible so it can be used on either end (but if you are right handed it will probably work best on the right side of the sofa if you use a separate mouse on the lower table). It is, however, slightly less stable, particularly when moving from one location to another. I probably have this table overloaded, as it is currently holding a large laptop, a second keyboard, a small photo printer, a multi-card reader, a trackball mouse, and an ice cold soda, but it works well for all of these. Due to this high weight, it has a slight problem maintaining the angle of the desktops using the friction clamps provided, but they adjust easy and are easy to tighten. So far, they haven't needed tightening for several weeks. The only problem during assembly were these same friction clamps, as they could use slightly more thread on them to allow the clamps to be more loose during installation of the top. Also, note that the two tables are welded to the main post and cannot be adjusted independent of one another, but this doesn't seem to be a problem, as the offset works well for your hand on a mouse on the lower tabletop."..."
