I love this rack, especially after I have researched so many others online and have read negative reviews about them. Some of the coat racks I've seen online was not nearly as attractive and twice as expensive was said to be flimsy, unsteady and wobbly. I was very impressed with the weight, the rustic look, the design and the amount of hooks it contains. I don't have to worry about my 6 year old daughter accidently knocking it down by brushing past it because it is very sturdy. She puts her bookbag and coat on the lower hooks and I can put my pocketbook and much larger coat on the top hooks. It only took me 20 minutes to assemble it and that's because I'm not that handy in putting things together. The instructions were clear and simple just the way I like them to be, straight and to the point. I would no doubt recommend this product to anyone who needs a good, strong coat rack with an umbrella stand."..."Read more
We had a ramshackle old coat rack that kept falling over and being in the way. I got two of these "Coat Rack(s) with Five Brass Hooks by Wooden Mallet" and we hung them onto the wall by which the old rack used to stand. It's made a world of difference. The racks themselves were beautiful, but we can't see them for all the coats, hiking poles, hats, jackets, etc., but underneath, it is beautiful! These racks have saved space and given us two hooks for every one. I highly recommend these racks. We were lucky to find studs in our walls measured right for the racks; that usually doesn't happen quite right as we live in a manufactured home."..."Read more
. One thing I worry about when ordering any kind of furniture or anything I may have to assemble is how easy or difficult assembly will be! I'm not a total idiot when it comes to this sort of thing, but I don't claim to be a pro either! Luckily, this coat rack was super easy to put together! And it looks beautiful! I put it right next to the table near my door, which is where I also keep a shoe basket. This is a great spot! We can come inside, take off our shoes and coats and they are easy to find and it looks nice! I am all about organization, and this coat rack helps to keep our coats off the floor and easily within reach when it's time to go! It is too tall for the kids to get their coats off of, but Wayfairs has smaller coat racks available for kids. Either way, this coat rack is a great addition to your house if you need a place to keep your coats! Since we don't have a coat closet, our coats would end up in our own closets or thrown over the back of a chair. I love being able to hang them all up. (With 5 people in the house, it can be a bit untidy to have jackets all over the place!)"..."Read more
A very different approach to a coat rack. It has clean lines and looks like a piece of artwork on the wall. When you want to use it as a coat rack, the hooks easily and smoothly pull down. The coat rack appears to be well-made and of good quality. I highly recommend this...very nice for the price!"..."Read more
