We have a double bowl sink/vanity that we just installed with 24" wide mirrors over each of bowls. These vanity sconces look and work great over each mirror. The photo shows them installed before the mirrors were attached. PRO: Solid, thick lamp shades. The little bulbs it comes with are nice and bright. CON: Before I purchased them, I asked if we could rotate them so that they were in a down lighting position verses up lighting and the Wayfair customer rep said yes. The instructions say up lighting only. I have them secured to the electrical round boxes with extra screws because of the heavy weight of the shades. We liked that look better and wouldn't have purchased them if the Wayfair rep said they couldn't be installed that way. We're keeping our fingers crossed hoping the Wayfair rep is correct and the instructions was just a guide on which way they should be installed. The bulbs are a bit tight to install. They do need a good strong push going into the ceramic holder. At times you feel like you're going to break those little bulbs. It felt like those special bulbs could only be installed one way even though it didn't look that way. A couple wouldn't install unless I rotate the bulb 180 degrees before pushing them in."..."  Read more

We installed this a couple of months ago over a bath vanity. The fixture is nice - mine has no quality issues, and it appears to be very well constructed for the price. It looks nice - modern but not edgy. Works well in a transitional or contemporary bath. I will buy more of these for the next bath remodel. We have tried mounting it with the lights pointing up and down, and noticed a few things 1) The glass and bulbs extend pretty far down (or up) - about 8 from the junction-box centerline. In our case, when pointing up, the lights were too close to the ceiling, and it wasted a lot of light. 2) Pointing down, we get much more useable light on the vanity. But because of the 8 offset, when mounted over a mirror, we needed to set the mirror a bit lower than expected, to avoid glare from the lights. So be sure you know where the J-box is, depending on whether you want to mount this facing up or down... and how high the vanity mirror is relative to the fixture We plan to buy"..."  Read more

I had such a hard time finding lighting I liked in local stores. I was delighted when I found Wayfair and have ordered ALL of the lights for our new house from them. This light was purchased for a guest bath with a simple beach cottage theme. All fixtures in the house are brushed nickel and this fit perfectly. The fixture is a good size with 4 bulbs. You have to play with bulb wattage. We've found even only 60 watt bulbs are too much for the little bathroom so may alternate 40 and 60 watt bulbs. The quality is better than expected for this price, heavy duty feel with a beautiful finish on it. The white glass swirl shades are very nice. We are extrememly happy with this item and the fast shipping and service we've received from Wayfair so far.
