It’s a very cold style…. BUT the outer glass is not flat at the center bottom so i cant get the opaque glass to sit symmetrically inside and tilts. This is a lovely little sconce! It's listed as a bathroom vanity light, but really it's suitable for any small place. We have a tiny hallway we're using it for. Although the brass accents are a little bit flashy, the overall design is understated enough to match a lot of decor sensibilities. It is heavy for its size. The glass is thick and milky enough that you can't see the bulb through it, even when turned on, but it still emits lots of light. (You will want to pick up a bulb you don't mind seeing from time to time, if you angle the sconce downward.) My husband was able to install it in about a half hour, start to finish, including fitting the base to a weirdly-sized electrical box, so if you're at all handy it will be no problem for you..
