Anji Mountain Zatar Rug

I already had a larger version of this rug that I bought at a local retialer. I fell in love with it in the store. I purchased the second and smaller on at Wayfair knowing it was a good product. Very soft, Lays flat, colors are true. The main reason I purchased at Wayfair was the fantastic price. 30% less than I could buy in store. Since purchase, I have also found out how easy it is to clean. I have and elderly cat and will say no more than that. Warm, mild soapy water is all it takes. Looks brand new. The only downside is initial shedding, but with a handmade rug (and you can see it in the quality), this was remedied with initial good sweaping. I also have a wire pet brush that I went over it with lightly. Purchased in very warm weather, I was cool to walk on. This morning is very cool and, as I expected, now very warm to walk on. Highly recommended rugs. I will purchase this maker again.

The rugs are great--soft underfoot, while retaining the semi-tropical look of a sisal rug. I read about the "shedding" with interest and vacuumed them thoroughly before furniture placement. I had to empty the vacuum cleaner twice during this process, but have not had any significant shedding since this initial vacuuming. Very pleased with both the purchase and the customer service.

This rug is much softer than I thought from the picture. I was pleasantly surprised. There is no backing underneath the rug so a rug pad is very necessary. It does have a strong odor from the natural fibers, but it goes away after a couple of days.

Soft underfoot, nice texture, looks great. Sheds a little but also vacuums up nicely. Definitely needs a rug pad.

This rug is beautiful. The quality exceeded my expectations.
