One note for potential buyers: the front, top and sides of the "black" clock are actually wood-grained charcoal grey plastic. Only the back is black. I will keep it because the clock's size, design and functionality were my priorities. The microphone on my android phone and my iPad is on the top, not the bottom and then following the video I tried to make it work from the bottom and it was never going to work, also, you have to make sure your volume is way up and then there is no issue setting anything on this clock alarm clock. I am also going to write to the company and apologize because it was my mistake not theirs if you want a really beautiful thing by your bedside to make you smile every day this is well worth the money , but I am only giving it four stars because they do give you video guidance setting up the app but show the phone they are using w microphone on bottom.
