Great work bench or use around the house table. Comes well wrapped and protected from and scratches that may occur from shipping. Solid sturdy hardware holding it together. Smooth silver finish. Wheels makes it easy to move around the home. Super easy and quick to put together. You do have to adjust the knobs on the bottom of the legs (the black part) to make it extra sturdy.

I love them. I got them because I live in the flood plain and they will probably be flooded some day. I can just hose them off after a flood and they are good to go.

The paperwork said the braces could support up to 1000 lbs---if configured correctly. I needed to support about a 80 pound drill press. I was more concerned with strength and stability. My drill press table is rock solid. I only used 2 of the 6 shelving modules on this project so I am looking forward to make something else. I would have given this 5 stars but when I tried to put in screws from the end, it caused my 2X4 to slant. I eventually solved the problems by using screws from both ends and alternating the tightening process.

This will be a great way to build a bench on my new deck. I went to reviews in different places and most said they really are great but you needed to beef up the hardware that will connect it to the decking supports. I was going to use my own lags, etc so theyd match the lags Ive used elsewhere.

The legs and shelf brackets were easy to use and the instructions made it very simple to specify the exact lumber requirements. I built a 6' x 3' workbench with shelves and pegboard back. I got the 2 x 4's, plywood, particle board top (with melamine coating) and pegboard cut at the lumber store. I would highly recommend getting all materials cut at the time of purchase. It takes some time at the store but is well worth the time saving in assembly which is then very easy with all of the precut materials and the instructions. It took me about two hours for the workbench and another 1-2 hours for the shelves and pegboard. The dimensions recommended in the instructions were perfect. I plan to add a vise, electrical outlet strip, work light and grinder which should all be easy to do with the design. For the top of the workbench, I used particle board with melamine surface coating which made for a very nice surface. I also used the diagonal support to avoid bowing. I also applied a white edging strip to the table top which can be ironed on and provides for a nice finish. Pros: Easy to build. Flexible design to enable sizing to fit needs.

Bought both the 19" deep and 24" deep tables for my office. One came with the wrong bolts, but probably an honest mistake as it looks like they changed bolt insert sizes embedded underneath the table at some point. I'll give that a pass, as I'm sure it's not the norm. Tables are fairly heavy and quite sturdy once assembled -- exactly what I was looking for. In shipping, you may get a few marks or scratches but they are hardly noticeable and, hey... It's a work table! I don't feel worried one bit to beat and bang on these benches. For the price and free shipping, I'd not hesitate to buy these again! PS - a fairly basic socket wrench set is about all you need for this. Put everything together by hand to get holes lined up, then go around and tighten. This took me about 30-40 minutes or so to assemble a piece, and that was bringing in the box from outside and assembling by myself. Plan for 1 hour and you'll be just fine.

When it says "two man lift" it means you need two people. Putting the wheels on was simple just need a 14 mm socket or box open. I had mine on its back and unpacked it in that condition. Once the wheels were on I removed the drawers, which showed how simple is was to remove and re-install them. This is when I needed that second person, even with the drawers out, which indicates the amount of steel in it's construction, it was a two person lift. It rolls easily so when moving it be mindful of slope and obstacles because it's solid construction. The pre-cut drawer liners were simple to install. The hardest part is deciding which tool go where.

I’m using this tool chest as a kitchen island and this is the only one I found that was the size I wanted with a drawer layout that works for me, and as a bonus, the stainless steel color fits right in with my appliances. It is going to hold all of my prep tools, mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, spices, and other ingredients I use frequently when preparing meals.

Nice product. Material is not extremely strong so I wouldn’t recommend being too aggressive with it. The countertop is very thick & sturdy. Assembly was easy & the instructions were clear. One plastic hinge for the swinging cabinet door was broken in packaging but was fixable (the reason the doors are not on in the picture is that the epoxy on the part was still curing). Overall happy with this item.

Was (1) Star! NOT A BUTCHER BLOCK TOP! Dare I open the boxes and be disappointed for overpaying? UPDATE- Opened the boxes after a couple nights sleep and very glad I did. Metal cabinets are awesome and the type of product I associate with Wayfair and its early days. Easy Assembly, Great Finishes and Good Quality Hardware. Highly recommend the product and highly recommend the description be updated to state "Simulated Butcher Block Top" Would definitely buy again. Being used in a craft room with light to moderate modeling and assembly so these units will last a lifetime.

Absolutely stunning after adding a coat of resin. This is my new coffee bar and I’m so excited to set it up. We already had walnut butcher block counters and this was a very close match in color. Came with a few imperfections but we just chose the nice looking side to face upward. Shipping estimate is off so don’t count on it-give it a few extra days.

I decided to add butcher block to a back bar and needed it to tie into the color of the original floors. Because I was going to stain and wax, this unfinished slab was ideal (so was the price). The quality exceeded my expectations. The slab arrived sanded and straight with no warping. There were some light shipping strap marks but they sanded out easily and were of no concern to me. To achieve the result in my photo (taken during construction), I cleaned with Odie's solvent (following instructions), then sanded to 220, applied a custom stain mix (golden oak & gunstock), cured, then applied several coats of Odie's Dark Oil. I'm thrilled with the results. Will definitely buy again.

Great power strip matches my gladiator work bench in color and length, but I will address the elephant in the room. After reading the other reviews I figured they might have fixed the power cord issue but they have not. Instead of running it out the side it comes straight out the back preventing your bench from sitting flush. So I hogged out a 3/4 hole and pulled the power cord through a grommet, wiring was just long enough to do this without pulling or sitting odd inside the case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gladiator Workbench is very high quality and durable. The workbench came delivered on a pallet and was not damaged which tends to be the problem with these things. The thing weighs quite a lot, so be care when moving pieces around and assembling. What stood out to me was the quality and finish of the product. The table top was beautiful with wood grains. The legs are wielded steel legs with adjustable height and slide-friendly feet to easily move from one place to another. The legs themselves are adjustable to your preferred height and also have two bolts per leg to secure the height which is a nice safety feature. The bench was already 80% pre-assembled and just required mounting the legs to the tabletop which was super easy and took 10 min. I'd highly recommend assembling the bench with some foam or cardboard underneath the table top to prevent damaging the surface. Re-adjusting the legs took some time, but was easy to do so, however be very care to not lose the washers as they can easily fall into the leg. This is somewhat of a design flaw, but isn't a dealbreaker since you're probably only going to change the height once or twice. Overall I am very impressed with the look and build quality of the table top. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a workbench and is definitely on par with, if not better than the other brands that make similar products.

The Pro’s makes it worth the hassle. Very heavy 8’ slab with a thick guage steel frame which is a big plus. Easy install (do yourself a favor and have the delivery guys place it in the room or space you plan to use it) Extremely heavy!!! 5 star quality & cosmetically beautiful. The Cons are slight damage near the top edge with deep scratches ( I purchased som Gorilla wood fill & touch it up with a fine sand paper) which worked out well. Lastly, the Gladiator name tag is glued on very crooked. Probably rubbed against something in their shop or while packaging. Plan to use a heat gun to loosing the strong adhesive backing to shift it in a straight position.

The workbench met my expectations but I did have to make a few modifications to the cross member support arms so that the holes would align and accept the bolts. Due to how the cross members were welded, one hole would line up but the other hole was way off and metal needed to be removed from the cross member to allow both holes to line up. It also helps to have someone with small hands install the nuts on the front three bolts/holes of the bench surface with the drawers installed. My hands were too big to squeeze into the small opening. A 12 inch socket extender will come in handy to aide in torquing the six front bolts. Dave

This is perfect fo my needs.. i run a dog kennel and have to keep things clean clean clean. I got two of these. and use one next the washer where i am costly washing towels and blankets and use it for a folding / stacking table and the other i use for a grooming table. Easy to keep clean and easy to clean under since they are above the ground on wheels.
