Best Storage Trunks With Reviews

After seeing a vintage trunk being used as a coffee table in my girlfriend's small living room, I was inspired to copy the look for our equally small family room. The matte metal bands add visual interest, and that it comes already assembled is a definite bonus. The overall height works well with our couch, and surprisingly sturdy construction means we can prop our feet up on it without worry. Better yet, it has a wonderful woodsy smell that doesn't overpower, and easily accommodates three blankets (from twin to full size) that we use for snuggling up on the couch. I could only give it four stars however, as one the hinges was broken off when it arrived, which doesn't allow the lid to stay open. It's kind of a bummer, but not a deal breaker as I plan on either replacing the broken hinge or removing the second one and just lifting off the top to access the blankets inside.

The first one shipped was damaged, but I submitted a claim and it was replaced. It is very thin wood and lightweight, but it looks really nice. After researching the prices on heavier trunks, I decided this is a decent product for the price. I plan to put fleece blankets in it, so it will work just fine. The coloring is unique - the blue is a little more turquoise than it appears in the picture, but it looks nice in the main room of our house.

It’s so so pretty. I’ll give it 4 stars only because there was some little details that could’ve been better. There was a couple of loose stitching’s but nothing mayor distracting. And also dried up glue on a part of the handle, not sure if I can get it off. It also doesn’t feel like the most sturdiest of trunk, I’m afraid of actually loading it with too many things in not sure the handle would be able to lift if it was heavy heavy. Afraid it would break off. The wheels are perfectly fine. ITS BEAUTIFUL. The rest of the starts I’d say are well deserved. It’s so soft, the inside is very well tapestried and it’s just perfect for my 18x20 canvases. Would definitely recommend.

This purchase was what i wished it would be.Thank you. The first item that i bought from your company was a toaster oven. After the third use of it sparked and burned out. I called the help line and i explained to the operator what happened and i asked what i should do next and waited for help. The next thing i knew i recived a bill for twice the amount. I sent the money and i throughout the toaster. So i lost trust and i w'as to just this item.

I ordered this trunk to use in place of my coffee table. I live in a tiny house and I can use extra storage. It is beautiful and goes perfectly with a sofa I already had. The colors in your ads are really close. I ordered the end table and lamp to complete my tiny living room. They go perfectly with the chest and my sofa. I bought a beautiful striped rug and valences and decorative pillow covers. The big clock goes perfectly with my tiny table and chairs that I bought and painted myself. I am 85 years old, live alone and enjoy every minute in my colorful tiny house.

I was afraid it might too flimsy to put another truck of heavy winter blankets in spaces bags (very heavy) on top of. No need to have worried. It is just what I needed to store my guest room. Inside I have a Queen size air mattress, two pillows, a quite, mattress pad, sheets, a body pillow and a foam pillow wedge for sitting up in bed. Wow! Now all the soft stuff are in vacuum storage bags to get it in. But boy is it heavy. It took being moved around a lot while I finished decorating the room, so it can take abuse. In the top trunk is a mattress topper. Cant beat have a guest room in a box! Perfect for my little house with its little bedroom and little space.

Absolutely love this coffee table! I bought it to place in front of my sofa bed in our beach house. It holds all the bedding for a queen size bed, including 2 pillows and a comforter. When we need to pull out the bed, the table easily rolls out of the way. The cedar lining of this spacious trunk is a really nice feature as well. It came all in one piece with no assembly and was packaged really well, no damage at all during shipping. It goes with the decor of the room so well, and the quality is exactly as described. And when you open the top, it stays open, no need to hold it up while you remove the contents. Perfect table to go with a sleeper sofa.

Absolutely beautiful. Matches the bed perfectly. Arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I am extremely grateful for Wayfair. The company that produces this trunk and the accompanying bed have stopped production because of COVID-19 and Im not sure whenif I would have received the trunk, had it not been for Wayfair. I moved into my new house and this bed and trunk are the only purchases I have made. I AM SO HAPPY!!!

This coffee table was a gift for our mom and she is absolutely in love with this piece of furniture. We placed it in the family room, and it looks better than we could imagine. This table is very functional, with ample storage within the three different storage compartments, sturdy and industrial hinges making this a table that will last years. The table comes with a tray inside the right side, which can be placed on top of the table or kept inside holding remotes and whatnot. Honestly, I would love to give this purchase a perfect 5- stars, but we did receive the table with a scratch on it (pictured above). It wasn’t a huge deal, but for the amount of money spent, expecting a perfect table. After contacting customer service, they resolved that issue immediately, offering me 20 in store credit to make up for the damage. Bravo Zulu to them. Lastly, coasters is a MUST if you are a family that drinks and eats in front of the TV. Because the condensation and wetness from drinks and food can cause damage to the table if not wiped up right away.

reading other reviews are always very helpful for me. this is a great piece and for the price it works perfectly all the way around in my beach house on a budget. other reviews said this was packaged very well however mine was not. it was together in a cardboard box with only a few pieces of square foam on the corners and sides. this could easily have been destroyed in shipping. thankfully it was not.

My washer and dryer are in a large closet in my dining room. There isn't enough room in the closet to fit an extra large hamper to service a family of six's dirty laundry, so I searched online forever to try to find a piece that would be (1) extra large (2) nice looking (since it would be out in the open) and (3) very sturdy. I ordered a "large" hamper from another company, however when I received it...it was maybe big enough to hold a couple of towels. I was so upset. So, I was a little nervous about being deceived again. This was until I ordered and received the Ammann Wicker Storage Trunk from Wayfair. It answered my prayers. It is extra extra large, absolutely beautiful and extremely sturdy! (My four cats lay on top of it with no problems of it caving in and they're not skinny cats!) It's so great that I'm not scrabbling around looking for a place to hide our dirty laundry if someone is coming over...I just shut the lid, place a couple of decorative throw pillows on top and it looks like just a stylish storage trunk. After recently redecorating a spare room, a trunk was considered for extra storage. I wanted to give it a fresh updated look and this trunk delivered. The water hyacinth material finish was just what this room needed. It offered a Tommy Bahama look to my room. The size of it was satisfactory and the attached hinged top makes it easy to use. The quality of the trunk was very satisfactory. I highly recommend this trunk to anyone looking for style and storage.

Purchase this item for our extra bedding to be stored. This chest was easy to put together. Me and my wife work on it she read instructions and I assemble it. took about 40 minutes to unpack the item and to assemble it. Little tip on cams do go back over with a bladed screw driver and give them a little more twist. And it will tighten right up. If you are lost you can also youtube how to assemble cedar chest and their is some great videos that will help. Enjoy

This blanket chest is just beautiful! The color and finish are professional. The interior is cedar lined on all sides and bottom. The inside capacity is much larger and deeper than any I had viewed on many other sites. It is perfect seating height and the under lid supports give it substantial strength. The soft close hinges are perfect and there are three counter sunk hinges as opposed to the standard two surface mounted that you typically see. There are metal tap guard at the corners to protect the wood. Just a beautifully made piece of casework. I’m surprised and delighted. You don’t normally find this quality even in most furniture stores today. Thank you for creating and offering a piece with integrity! Very happy!

Very happy with my purchase. The trunk was very well packaged and already assembled. All that was needed was the wheels to be screwed on. My only complaint is that I was asked if I wanted my trunk to be assembled and I cued yes and was charged 98. When preparing for the assembly team to arrive I opened the package and discovered the trunk was already assembled. I immediately emailed Wayfair to cancel the assembly team. Did not want to be charged for something that was already done at the factory. If Wayfair refunds my assembly charge I would give a 5 star review. Otherwise I paid 98 for nothing and would diminish my satisfaction to some degree. Product was perfect though. When buying, the merchant should stipulate if the item is assembled or not.

I needed extra storage with a substantial latch so I could safely storelock items up that needed to be secure in an environment of curious children and adults. I also wanted this piece of furniture to be multifunctional. This Storage Trunk is a great choice and solution for me!!! Reasonably priced, finished in the Mission stain, (the lighter of the two offered,) it almost glows with its warm golden tones and satin patina. Once fully assembled, its surprising weight is manageable with the generous attached side handles.............a good thing as this chest is so adaptable, it can be moved and utilized in easily several different ways. Amazing how just changing one element of the living room gives it a whole new look. Thats what happened when we added this coffee table. The description mentions that the drawers are just for show but that is not the case - they are actual drawers and offer lots of room to hide clutter. A couple of things that I appreciate when I get something from Wayfair is the 0% over a few months (I used that with this purchase) and the packaging (I think this was packed for re-entry into the atmosphere dropped shipped from the space station). The web site gives me plenty of pictures and good color representation so I really don't have any surprises when the product arrives at the house. Style is always a personal choice but this fit in perfectly with the grey sectional couch we've had for a few years and chunky dark end tables we bought at World Market who knows how many years ago. I think you get the point that nothing matches but it all works together well for us.

This is a really nice piece of furniture. We are currently using it as a toy chest for our grandson in our family room. He is two and a half and can ioen and close it easily to get and put away his toys. It is actually a little darker than the picture (more like a cherry or almost mahogany color) which was fine for where it was going. It went together easily with the pre drilled markers (something I think the company must have fixed after early reviews fretted about this. Because it came in a slightly different color and was actually called something different from the listing name, I called customer service to confirm that I had gotten what I ordered. Customer service was very helpful in helping me sort things out.

I was looking for a little trunk to have in the living room to hide some extra cushions and some thows for the sofa. I got this in white. It looks really nice in a setting where there is mostly white furniture and have placed it just under the living room windows. The cats loved to sit on it, and loved it even more when I placed a large, square-shaped bean-bag cushion on top of it (a gift that I didn't where to place in my home). The ensemble of trunk and cushion look perfect together in the room, and the cats love to sit on that and look out the window or to just lay there to nap. Pretty easy to follow the instructions and to assemble it, and the white version is a clean look. It's not heavy, so you can easily move it to sweep or mop under it.

I just love this chest! I have very little storage options in my small house so I’m always looking for ways to maximize storage and find multiple uses for things. This was the perfect solution when I got rid of my lift top coffee table. I had know where to put the items it previously had stored. I was pleasantly surprised when this chest easily housed a full size desktop printer, pack of paper, extra ink cartridges, 40 or so DVD’s and games, power cables & even a lap top with plenty more room to spare! It’s sturdy enough as well. Highly recommend!
