[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my SpinWave mop for a little while now, long enough to be able to give an honest review about it. So, when Bissell sent me an email saying I could win a #sweepstakes contest for writing a review, I decided to go ahead and post my review! Just a quick disclaimer; Bissell didn't give me any instructions about what I needed to include in the review, or how many stars to give this machine. As the headline implies, I thought I had pretty clean hardwood floors. We're a no-shoes household, I don't have pets or kids, and the flat mop I used didn't seem that dirty, even going over the whole house. I decided to give the SpinWave because I have a little back issue that makes traditional mopping a little hard for me. I didn't want a steam mop because I have hardwood floors, and I figured that a little extra buffing couldn't hurt the floors, anyway. The SpinWave was easy to set up and start mopping, though there's a little bit of a learning curve with the pads: if you don't get them centered just right, they kind of fling around in a wonky way. There are dots that you line up to prevent this from happening. I had just mopped a few days earlier, but I wanted to see if the SpinWave could pick up anything extra. After I finished using the SpinWave in the kitchen and dining room, I looked at the pads, and WOW, they were filthy! I had no idea how much grime had accumulated on my floors over time. After that first time, there has only been a little dirt on the pads, so apparently the mop is doing its job. The cleaner works well and isn't too smelly (I really don't like scented cleaning products), but water works well, too. I'm planning to just use the cleaner every 3rd or 4th mopping for maintenance. I wish that this came with more pads, especially the soft buffer ones. 2-3 sets of the buffer ones would be perfect. I recommend ordering extra with the mop. Besides that, and the learning curve for the pad placement, this is an amazing machine, and I recommend it!
