We enjoyed the final result but the shed was challenging to put together. Sometimes these instructions nowadays are difficult to read. A big problem was that there were very few pilot holes drilled and the "wood" didn't like to accept the screws that were rather large. Here is my review of the Patiowell 8x8 Resin Storage Shed. First, Wayfair made the entire purchasing process seamless. Their website was easy to navigate, customer service was professional, and the FedEx deliveries (which arrived in two separate shipments) were handled quickly and efficiently. The shed arrived in five large boxes, and the FedEx delivery driver handled everything with care by placing the boxes neatly in the driveway. I was impressed with the thoughtful packaging. The components were securely protected with layers of Styrofoam, cardboard, and plastic straps to prevent damage during shipping. The shed itself feels sturdy, durable, and solid. Once all of the parts were organized, the instructions became easy to follow during construction. This project definitely requires two people, as many sections need to be assembled on the ground and then lifted into place. Once the base floor is completed, the rest of the build flows together step-by-step, including the walls, frame, roof, and doors. For tools and preparation, I highly recommend having a cordless drill, painter’s tape, extra bolts, and caulking for sealing the seams. Overall, assembling the shed was challenging and took about six hours to complete. Patience, organization, and a few extra supplies are essential for a smooth installation. This storage shed is definitely put together well making for easy assembly. I love the color and design and I cant wait to fill it. The metal is as described but a little flimsy for what I was hoping. You need to be familiar with the sizes. Also need to familiarize yourself with the dimensions and how they are determined. My only complaint is the height of the lower roof because the highest measurement given is actually for the center and not the entire roof. With two people, the assembly was doable! It did take us longer than anticipated (6+ hours while taking our time). The instructions are a very detailed, which is key honestly. I do wish that more of the finer details were magnified in the instructions. Every piece is light enough for one person lifting. The tools (except for a drill of course, so I recommend having one) are provided, and every piece is clear labeled (screws as well). My only complaint is about the flooring. When using a ladder or wearing hard bottom shoes, some parts began to crack slightly. It's not that big of a deal though adding a mat, foam padding, or wood will do the trick. I so desperately needed a shed and am looking forward to finishing this assembly! I had to get a good base set up for it and secure it, now that’s done and I’ll be able to upload more of the finished product. It arrived in two boxes, the larger box, box 2 of 2, is the one that contains the assembly instructions. Hoping this goes together as smoothly as it was shipped! Adding photos of completed build! I did see one reviewer mention that it was easier to assemble the roof partly before putting it on top, and that was super helpful. We attached the roof panels with the screws on the toppitch of the roof. I will say, all of the screws that were provided were quite short, so I ended up using some longer self tapping screws in place. Added some OSB on top of the floor frame, and everything seems good to go! The front doors don’t close evenly and probably will need a magnet at the very top center to keep them fully shut.
