looks nice, got the brown color, happy with the quality, however a few drawbacks: -my husband did not enjoy the assembly, i would recommend paying for it -the top drawers do not open far enough (hard to access the back of the drawer) and if you pull them out too much they just come out, there is no good blocking mechanism -the shoe slots are great for women's shoes, but my husband's size 11 shoes don't fit perpendicular on the shelves as expected from the photos, he has to put them in diagonally (otherwise it won't close) and this reduces the amount of shoes he can fit in, i think it should have been an inch or two deeper. I went a little out of my comfort zone with the blue, and Im actually surprised by how much I like it. Its a really pretty color in person, and the cabinet looks much more like a piece of furniture than something thats obviously hiding a ridiculous number of shoes. And it really does hold a ridiculous number of shoes. Assembly was easy, but dont confuse easy with quick. There are a lot of pieces. The instructions were straightforward and I didnt have any trouble putting it together, but I probably spent 2 12 to 3 hours on it total. I was interrupted several times, so your results may vary! My biggest complaint is the shelf configuration. I wish there were more options, particularly on the smaller right side. Right now I would much rather have additional shelves for sandals and shorter shoes. I may completely change my mind when winter comes and the boots come out of storage, but I would have liked the flexibility to configure that section either way. I also think the left side could easily accommodate another shelf. I even have a few pairs tucked underneath the cabinet, and because the sides extend almost all the way to the floor, theyre surprisingly well hidden. The other small thing is the hardware. Its supposed to be gold, but in person it leans more toward a bright yellow-gold. Thats probably something that bothers me more than it will most people, but I would have preferred a more traditional gold finish. Overall, though, Im really pleased with it. It feels sturdy, holds a ton of shoes, and the blue ended up being a winner. I just wish they had given me a few more shelves so I could really test the limits of how many shoes I can justify owning.. Terri. Pine Knoll Shores, NC. Sat Aug 29 2026
