Use narrow outdoor areas efficiently with the DuraMax SideMate Plus 4 ft. x 8 ft. Vinyl Lean-To Storage Shed. Designed for placement beside a home, fence, or other structure, it provides enclosed storage for garden tools, bicycles, lawn equipment, and seasonal supplies. The reversible door helps adapt access to your layout, reinforced framing adds support, and the included foundation helps create a stable installation.

This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. That way, we're not worried about it blowing over with heavy winds. [I was incentivized by Wayfair with a monetary reward in exchange for a review]. Diana. San Jose, CA. Thu Apr 23 2026

Tired of cluttered garages or cramped storage areas? Space-saving storage without sacrificing functionality. Whether you're storing gardening tools, outdoor equipment, or seasonal decorations, this shed is designed to fit seamlessly into narrow spaces while offering ample storage capacity.

This thing rocks. It shipps in 2 boxes (one is 100lbs). It shipped quick (3 days) and arrived on time. Produce wise, it was packed better than things that are 3x the cost. Between the box and the material was 1/2" of foam AND 1/4" of wood. There were also 1/8" corner guards. The instructions could be better in some cases, but nothing worse than any other product. As a bonus, they included (two) pairs of comfortable gloves to protect the customer. This is a welcome addition and made a big difference.. Mel. Cincinnati, OH. Sat Aug 22 2026

Easily add storage space and value to your property with an outsunny shed. This outside storage shed has distinct advantages over traditional wooden models, making it a much more attractive choice. A steel shed offers more weather endurance and better protection from hazards such as fire. Add much-needed storage space to your property, and add this backyard storage shed by Outsunny.

Assembly was fine. Quality is what I expected for the price. My only complaint is the door is already curling in a way that creates gaps. Is not a deal breaker. Also be aware that the floor dimensions are a couple inches wider and longer than a 4x 8 ply board which is quite inconvenient. Juliana. Gallup, NM. Sun Jun 14 2026

The shed is fine (although note it will take you 8+ hours to pull all the plastic wrapping off the pieces when you get it!!!). However, we had a bunch of issues with the installers. Wayfair contracted the assembly out to Angi and when they sent the first “professional”, he tried doing it by himself and completely damaged the shed. When I called Wayfair, they sent replacement parts and the parts never showed up (they shipped them to the wrong address). Wayfair then sent a replacement shed, but I had to take down the old one (as they said they don’t do demo work). Angi finally sent two new techs to perform the install of the new shed and it went better. However, from when I ordered the shed to when the second one got installed, it was over a month.. Nicholas. I’m about halfway finished constructing this shed. So far, everything it lining up nicely. I was a bit worried when I saw comments from others, but I’ve found no issues yet. Yes, there are lots of screws but its needed to hold the panels in place. The harder parts (roof and doors) are not done yet, hoping they also just fit together well. It took about 1.5 hours to put together the base and the walls. I’m thinking the whole thing will be under 4 hours. No damage from delivery, all the parts are accounted for. UPDATE: I was able to finish building the shed, and it was relatively easy. The only tricky part was the roof, which got a bit challenging as the ground we were building on was not level. I needed an extra pair of hands to move the shed so the holes all lined up. Everything did line up, except the corners... I could not figure out how to get those to match up, so I just left them. Its secure enough where it is, and the top won't fly off. It didn't fit my wheelbarrow, unfortunately, but everything else I wanted to put in went in with room to spare. Very happy with the shed!. I love this shed. Im considering getting a second one. Took a few hours to put it together, 2 people. The instructions were a little confusing, but we figured it out.. Reyna. Menifee, CA. Sun Oct 04 2026

First off you definitely need two people to build it. It goes together relatively easily and is not particularly complicated. The holes don’t always line up so it would be beneficial to have self tapping sheet metal screws. Depending on what yOu sit the shed on you will want to attach it and this doesn’t come with anything to attach it with. It is not heavy and will blow away on a windy day. The lock doesn’t lock. That is a faulty part. It is a nice shed and will fit your garden tools. Gwenn. Mableton, GA. Wed Oct 30 2024

Indeed beautiful and very sturdy! The shed is spacious, well-built, and looks great in our yard. The metal construction feels durable, and the windows and wider doors are a nice touch.
