We eventually got it together, but pieces were mislabeled and instructions were not sufficient enough to get all the details correct. The wood is black, not espresso, which is disappointing because I got it to match my espresso entryway table right next to it. We spent a long time building it so we will keep it for a while, but probably eventually buy a different one. Will. Livermore, CA. Sun Aug 23 2026

The assembly of the bench is fast and easy as the instructions go. The door hinges are at an awkward angle so attaching them is a challenge to screw the hinges in place and to get the doors to hang so they are flush with the bench and do not scrape the top or bottom when opened and closed.
