Really nice . It looks so much nicer than just a rug . Our granddaughter comes in and throws her shoes , this works great . It’s well made , sturdy , and really looks nice . This is the best shoe rack!!! It’s so easy to put together - it comes in about 5 pieces and doesn’t take more than 5-10 min to assemble. It’s packed really well. The solid wood legs have a mid-century feel. This can be used with the thick mat inserts, or without them as a plastic shoe tray. We have been using this shoe rack for a few weeks, and I am super happy with the purchase. It is beautiful and made the entrance of the house look really nice. It fit about 36 pairs of shoes (only the boots and slippers were left outside in a box), so it was definitely worth it for organizing the house. The assembly was okay, it's not the easiest, requiring some moments with two people together to complete, and honestly, I only don't give it 4 stars because some screws strip during assembly.
