Very nice leather. I like the color of the wood, too. But the shelf strikes me a rather cheesy; seems to be finished in veneer. For this price, it should be wood. One of the brackets holding the shelf in place needed to be straightened and reattached.. Anita. Watkins Glen, NY. Mon Mar 24 2025

Place this storage chest in the bedroom as a bed end bench, in front of the sofa in the living room as a footrest, or in the hallway as a shoe bench—you have the final say.The frame of this storage chest is made of quality MDF, which is strong enough to hold up to 660 lb, so you can sit on it with your mind at ease.Padded with 1” thick, high-resilient, high-density foam, this storage bench is resistant to deformation, so you can sit on it comfortably.

I did not receive the ottoman in the photo. There is no hinged top, just a removable top like a shoebox. The whole thing is made of cardboard and wouldn't dare have anyone sit on it. Very poor quality and not worth the money.. Adrienne. Ann Arbor, MI. Sun Sep 15 2024
