We do love the ottoman. Mostly purchased to be footrest to a chair intended for reading in the corner of our room. Haven’t utilized the storage area but have considered placing a blanket, books, or crochet projects there for easy access. This is a nice, well-constructed storage tray ottoman. It's a little difficult to move on carpet if you put anything very heavy in it (for example, a stack of magazines) because there's nothing to grab hold of.
