With two people, the assembly was doable! It did take us longer than anticipated (6+ hours while taking our time). The instructions are a very detailed, which is key honestly. I do wish that more of the finer details were magnified in the instructions. Every piece is light enough for one person lifting. The tools (except for a drill of course, so I recommend having one) are provided, and every piece is clear labeled (screws as well). My only complaint is about the flooring. When using a ladder or wearing hard bottom shoes, some parts began to crack slightly. It's not that big of a deal though adding a mat, foam padding, or wood will do the trick. Every piece was included and measured precisely. Happy building!. Keyron. Brooklyn, NY. Wed Jun 03 2026

I started assembling it but found that a few screws were missing. Aside from that, the quality of the materials is excellent. I also love that the color is more of a grayish-brown rather than the reddish hue it appeared to have online. The size is perfect for keeping our garbage cans out of sight or for use in storing garden tools and equipment. I chose this size because I wanted extra backyard storage without it being visible above our fence. We live in a neighborhood with fairly strict HOA rules, and this storage unit is the perfect height to stay discreet while still offering ample storage space.. Janice. Tomball, TX. Sat Jul 04 2026

This wooden outdoor storage cabinet can hold most garden tools like watering cans, hoses, spades, and pots, ending clutter and reducing trips. Own this garden shed and enjoy a more organized, relaxing outdoor life!

This is the most passionate review I will ever write about a piece of furniture. If i could rate this a 3.5 I would. First of all, it's the most adorable shed I've ever seen and I'm so proud to call it mine. However, building this thing was like what I imagine giving birth is like. It took my husband and I around 5 hours to build over three days in addition to needing to borrow a drill to finish the job. The wood is thin, and dents easy, and to top it all off the whole thing was covered in shards of fiberglass upon unboxing the two packages, meaning we had to wipe the entrance to our house down and build the thing outside. It requires two people to assemble and between the lack of useful directions and less than helpful (or missing) predrilled holes, it was a battle. But I love it. Thank god it's over... Sara. Great storage for outdoor toys. Traci. Lawndale, NC. Sat Apr 11 2026

Five stars. This storage shed is exactly what I hoped for: sturdy, stylish, and a huge upgrade from cramming yard tools in my laundry room. The material is the real win here. I specifically did not want a metal shed, and this proves why. It looks great in my backyard, feels solid, and is easy to wipe down and keep clean. Bonus: my HOA only allows this type of material anyway, so it checked that box too. My only beef is the door “handles.” There are no real handles, so you have to put your fingers inside the cutout and pull, which is not the best user experience. A simple handle design would make this perfect. Assembly note: this is not a one-person job. It took me and my daughter about 3 hours. Use a power drill if you have one, it would definitely speed things up. Overall, I love it and would absolutely recommend it.. Kamilah. Chester, VA. Tue Dec 30 2025

The small sized resin tool shed provides a secure, waterproof solution for organizing garden tools, lawn equipment, and outdoor essentials. Featuring double-panel walls and a textured surface, it offers enhanced durability and an attractive design.

Decent storage cabinet and will work for what I need it for. The shelving seems sturdy enough . The doors catch pretty badly on the center and they are a little hard to open. The handles are very shallow and extremely difficult to use. It looks like there is an option to add more hardware but it didn’t come with the kit. I’ll keep it for now but curious if it’s going to sag more over time with weight in it.. Jennifer. Boston, MA. Thu Aug 21 2025

Finished product is great. It was a little harder to put together than we expected and took longer then expected. The instructions were good, but could've been a little better. We had a couple of small issues of fit, but everything ended up working out great.. Andrew E.. Wed Jun 24 2026

The small sized resin tool shed provides a secure, waterproof solution for organizing garden tools, lawn equipment, and outdoor essentials. Featuring double-panel walls and a textured surface, it offers enhanced durability and an attractive design.

Better cabinet than other outdoor cabinets Ive purchased in the past. The doors stay closed really well and has a latch to keep it shut. We did have one faulty hinge, but when I contacted Wayfair they got in touch with the manufacturer right away and they sent out replacement hinges. Highly recommend over other brands. You wont regret it.. Beth. MN. Tue Mar 31 2026

I have an extensive permitting process here in MD, as I am on a Historic Property and have additional requirements. Purchasing this kit was not only economical for all the reasons you'd expect (saved time designing and saved scrap with construction) - it also saved me going through the structural part of the permitting process. I received the design drawings from Little Cottage Co. and sent them off to the County. Easy Peasy. I got the 16x22 shed - and it is plenty big for my mini-skid and mower, lumber drying area and lots of inside space to work. As other reviewers have noted, it was a huge help to have a nailgun and scaffolding rented. It took us about two full weekends with some extra labor (so, from one to 5 people working both weekends) to assemble the building and apply the underlayment. Then it was weathered in. Later, I added a porch and applied metal roofing. That was fun and educational. This has been a great DIY project, start-to-finish. I can;t recommend the company and the kit(s) highly enough. Everything was great, from the professional delivery of the two large pallets all through the end of construction. The directions were great, and I got them sent to me ahead of time, to help me plan for when to ask for help and how many people. Every time I contacted the company they were fast, thorough, and professional with their advice, their expertise, and recommendations. You won't regret buying your own kit from Little Cottage Co. :-). I was really impressed by the quality of the wood and materials. Also all the boards are clearly marked with their function and even markings for locating studs. They provide all the hardware you need and then some. I assembled largely by myself but you will need help at some points like the siding, roof and doors. While the instructions are very clear, I question the order of certain steps. For example siding the walls before erecting them and installing the rakes prior to installing the roof boards seem the wrong order to me. I assembled mine in a more traditional manner with great success. Truly a great value, but be prepared for several days of work and get a friend to help!. Paul C.. Sun Sep 13 2026
