The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. I purchased this to extend our usable space on our patio. It took 2 people about 5 hours in the Texas heat to put this together. We did have some experience with this type of assembly so that helped streamline things. It definitely needs to be anchored, but once it is the awning is quite stable. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. Nice Pergola It’s solid but a little lower than I had envisioned. The front has a shallow gutter with ends open. I’m a trying to figure out how to hang a gutter. It’s very hard to drill. Some of the louvers arrived with minor factory paint scratches. I reached out to Mirador for touch-up paint, but they don’t offer any. purchased four and set them side to side. they look great frame is very sturdy and heavy steel. the anchors they come with definitely not long enough to hold long term in ground. i replaced with 12 galvanized anchors. the ceiling material is flimsy but does the job for now overall i say 83 happy. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I didn’t run into any issues during assembly, and all the required parts were included in the boxes—nothing was missing. First off came very well packaged and all parts in boxes were secured with foam and each one individually wrapped. The quality is good and looks just like the pictures. I think it took just as long to take the pieces out of the boxes and unwrap them and break all the packing down than it did to build the pergola.
