Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The construction feels solid, and all of the pieces arrived well-packed and without any damage. One feature I especially like is the hinged sections, which provide convenient extra storage for things like umbrellas or flip-flops. Assembly was a bit more challenging than I expected, particularly when it came to installing the self-tapping screws. A long drill bit extender was almost necessary to get the job done. My only other complaint is that it's smaller than the online photos make it appear, so I definitely recommend checking the dimensions before ordering to make sure it's the right size for your space.. I knew from other reviews that this was going to be very small! It needed to fit in a very narrow space so I gave it a try. I wear Women’s 7 1/2 and two pairs only fit on a shelf if one shoe goes in sideways - so the picture they provide must have very small shoes in there. But it will work for what I wanted. I threw a bunch of slipper socks in the top storage area and we will see if I can remember that’s where I put them!. Jill. Blue Springs, MO. Sun Jul 12 2026

Unlike the photo the bench comes with cheap plastic faux rattan on the legs, which would be fine but its stapled on, and in the process of removing the plastic rattan(because its hideous) the wood was damaged. Im going to keep it because you really cant see the damage when its covered in shoes and shoved next to my front door, but it is something to think about if you are considering this wood bench with a green seat over the other wood benches with green seats. Maybe opt for a more expensive version if you can, the ones with storage under the seat look cool! Oh, also the seat is not attached to the base at all, you could probably figure out a way to attach it, but is it worth the discount. Anonymous. Sat Sep 19 2026
