I tried flocked hangers,$$ (brake & bend) I gave a lot of thought to these & not only are they very sturdy, they are a bit longer than standard, hold, shirts,sweaters,jackets & coats,,.Even my ( heavy leather trench & my Wool 3/4 over coat! ) because they don't have grip areas, I thought about placing 2 strips of 3"/4" hot glue on each side to grip Lt. wgt. Items & tanks etc. I ended up buying Velcro, & using the felted side instead of the glue. It works beautifully! Also these have a sturdy hook hold under the hanger hook to hold a second hanger (I use to organize clothing sets, and hook Pants on their hangers to their tops etc.) You can also hook your hangers together to useyour closets verticle space & take up less room!
