This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

This retractable side awning features an 8-inch wider design for enhanced seclusion, weather-resistant PU-coated fabric, and a smooth retractable mechanism for easy use. Its durable polyester and aluminum construction ensures longevity, while the simple 10-minute installation makes it a quick upgrade for any patio or balcony.

This awning is the first choice of most homeowners who choose a manually-operated model because for just low cost it extends out from your house giving you up more square feet of coverage and protection This model requires no electricity.

Pros Great product for the price! It has held up very well in the CA sun over the past few months. Cons It stains easily and it was so terrible to put together (terrible instructions, lots of pieces). If I had to do it again, would have three people to hang it.. Jeannie. Los Angeles, CA. Hard to build. Took several hours to build this. The frame is grey which was disappointing because I thought it was black. Once it was up, it looks nice and functions well.. Kelli. AB. Thu Aug 06 2026

Nice awning. Too heavy for 2 seniors to hang. Had to hire a handyman. It really is too small for the area. It needed to be bigger (longer). Too cumbersome to return. Guess we need to buy another to go along side it.. Rosa. Thu Jul 23 2026

Features include durable, water-resistant, and UV-resistant screens protecting against the wind and low-lying sun creating a cozy place for you to enjoy the outdoors. Just pull straight out and clip to lock, auto to roll back when not to use, and won't take much room. Enjoy your afternoon with this side awning.

These are great. Purchased 4 to install around pool enclosure for privacy and to block sun in evening. Easy to install with right tools. Not too heavy, relatively sturdy construction. Came with stainless steel washers, but lag screws were only zinc coated, so I purchased stainless steel 5/16 bolts instead that will not rust. I cut to fit gray rubber cover base (see photos) from HD to fit under base plates for added stability, to prevent contact from water and chlorine, prevent water from intruding into anchor holes, and for leveling posts. Overall good product, especially for price.. Anonymous. US. Thu May 23 2024
