Create a custom surface for your kitchen, laundry room, office, or workshop with this unfinished solid birch butcher block countertop. The 1.5" thick design offers a sturdy foundation for use as a kitchen island top, workbench, desktop, table surface, or folding station. Its natural birch grain and light wood tone make it easy to stain, seal, or oil to match your space. The surface arrives pre-sanded and ready for finishing. Because this is unfinished natural wood, all sides and edges should be sealed or finished shortly after unwrapping to help protect against moisture, cracking, and warping.

I prefer birch due to its great ability to drain and these are a good quality and price compared to big box stores.. Anonymous. Fri Jun 05 2026
