This is a great heavy duty closet rod that can support LOTS of weight. The chrome rod has a 0.08 inch thickness and can be bought in 6ft or 8ft lengths. I bought the 8ft and cut it down to size with a hacksaw. Lido Designs also makes heavy duty brackets that can support 150 lbs per pair.
