Well built and highly adjustable height. Only disappointment was that the top has two 3 foot tops versus a single top meaning there is a seam in the middle. I finally received my workbench, after a year of searching I found the one that fit all my needs. When I came across this workbench. I doubled checked my measurements, (even when it factory was wrong with the measurements and it was 72” wide instead of 68”) and I saw in the specifications that ASSEMBLY was REQUIRED I was pleased because the only way I could get it into my basement was that I had to assemble it myself. So when the workbench was delivered. To my surprise and I was feeling completely duped, the body of the workbench including the drawers came already ASSEMBLED. The apron, legs, single shelf, the top, and the hardware were separate. I was in a panic that I wouldn’t be able to get it in my basement. After calling Wayfair. They told me that the drawers could be removed which 4 of them were easy pull out drawers but the other 5 I had to remove the screws from the sides to remove them. With the drawers out it still was not an easy task getting it through the doorways; to the back of my house. To have friends carry it down my areaway into the basement. Beautiful quality and perfect for a DIY standing desk I purchased this unfinished Acacia butcher block to use as the desktop for a standing desk build, and the final outcome is absolutely beautiful. Right out of the gate, the delivery was incredibly fast. The packaging was also fantastic—it was heavily protected and arrived in much better shape than other wood countertops I’ve purchased in the past. When I first lifted it, I noticed it was a bit lighter than I expected for solid wood. This is actually a huge positive; it tells me the manufacturer used a proper, thorough drying process, which means the wood is stable and much less likely to warp over time. The wood itself is extremely high quality. The block had one side with a perfectly formatted, gorgeous grain pattern, which I immediately chose as the top facing side for my desk. Since it comes unfinished, I applied my own oil and wax. As you can see in the photos I uploaded, the finish brought out the rich, natural colors of the Acacia perfectly. Misleading advertising! Look in the photos and it's a one piece top. This actually comes in 2 pieces and on the box and instructions you can see that the countertop is not a single piece. On the website and marketing materials, it's one piece! Do not buy this if you think that you are getting an 8' countertop. After installing, all the parts were there and the quality is decent.
