Overall, I like these a lot. I wanted something sturdy and basic in this room which houses my home office because I also have a lot of dumbbells and they were on a weight rack which I found to be somewhat unsightly. I had to deduct a star because I could not get the latches attached to the lid, no matter how hard I tried and the pre-drilled holes for the hinges were really not acceptable. In both of these chests, the middle pre-drilled hole was missing entirely. The others were just barely drilled and so I had to ask a friend to come over and help me get the screws fully screwed in. 77 on sale and all it fits is 1 Cali king comforter . It’s as described and pictured but doesn’t pack the punch we were hoping for, like maybe 2 comforters or 1 comforter and several sheet sets but nope. This looks like a really nice little trunk, straight out of the box, appears to be solid construction. Lightweight, solid bottom, slat design for sides and top, treasure chest style.
