I purchased this for my umbrella cockatoo so he would have a sizeable space outdoors. I knew I would be changing out the screen that came with the shed to a fencing more appropriate for a large parrot. I was able to easily modify it for my needs and it has been great for my cockatoo. He loves the space and it has held up to his destructive nature. It took 2 people all day to put it together, but that was largely because there are a ton of screws for this. This is a great shed! As a 5’2 woman with a 5’8 hubs, it does feel a little short height wise but perfect for us. We did decide to run 1x4’s around the middle to give the walls some extra support. Well packed. The siding has a protective plastic coating on it to keep from getting scratched during shipment. You need to take that off before assembly. I don't recall anything in the directions about doing that so we didn't discover it until we'd already assembled a few of parts. I recommend wearing the provided gloves as the metal is very sharp on the edges and ends and you can easily cut yourself. The finished assembly has safety edges on the shed so sharp edges are all covered by then. The directions weren't bad but they weren't exceptional either. There were both pictures and written instructions. One big plus was the holes lined up well. It did take hours to assemble. The "floor" is two of the shelves at the bottom. The open part of the shed doesn't have a floor but does have two bars to add strength to the shed. The roof has white plugs for the screws to make it water tight and we had a heavy rain right after assembly and it didn't get wet inside. We placed it behind our above ground pool ladder platform on 10 12x12 leveled cement pavers. We had some high winds after putting it there and because it's in a sheltered area, it stayed fine. I plan to put some of the pavers on the flooring to hold it down better. It will work well to store our pool toys such as goggles and volley ball net and ball. Pleased with the quality. Quality materials and straight forward build. Instructions can be difficult to interpret and identify correct component orientation as they read more for an engineer to use than an end-user without technical building prowess. The unit comes in a multitude of pieces and expect a 3 to 4-hour build time to do it correctly depending on your skill level. It is daunting opening and spreading out the pieces due to the amount. The sheet metal comes laminated with clear plastic which has scratches and marks. I suppose you could remove the plastic but I chose to leave it in place. There was one metal component that was press bent incorrectly but I was able to remedy using a metal punch and hammer to relocate the screw holes to the other side. This storage cabinet it nice for it’s size. It was a little difficult to put together, but would be a lot easier if you had some help. It did come with gloves so that you would not be injured when dealing with the sheet metal. The one thing I don’t love is the thin plastic that is over the metal.
