The drawer slides are a one roller front and one roller rear and while they work, they are noisy, a little rough, and when the drawer is pulled out, the drawers make a good thump when it hits the stops. I thought I knew my measurements before I ordered this closet organizer and it turns out it is a little big for the closet. And once its assembled, what are you going to do? We will make it work.. This is really cute. Directions are not the best. Could show a little more detail on how the connectors work. Once I figured it out it went together pretty easily. I have only built four cubes so far because that is the space that is available at the moment. Cant wait to finish the room to put the rest up. These closet systems are a great color. Assembly was VERY time consuming. We ended up hiring a contractor to assemble and install them. The assembly time indicated was grossly underestimated. The curtain rods that are inside of the main portion of the system doesn’t have enough room to hang a simple shirt. They should have been mounted above the shelf and the shelf should have been removed all together. It is definitely more cheaply made that previous systems we have had. More ways to install and use spaces and walls of different widths, while having more usable space, 6 oversized drawers can accommodate more sundries. 3. 14 shelves including multi-layer bag display shelves make the shape more beautiful and make it easier to build a private wardrobe. 4. The open clothes hanging rod can hang more clothes at the same time, and it will not cause problems such as mold in the clothes due to the closed space. 5. A shoe-wearing bench is attached to facilitate wearing and taking off shoes at the wardrobe rack, which is more convenient for matching the whole body shape.

This system was installed for me by a renovation crew working on my new home. I am told that it was easy to assemble and appears to be spacious and sturdy. However, it is not trimmable and was slightly too wide for the space; the website says it can be cut to fit. Instruction very clear (words not just drawings). Wood is solid pine so can ding easily during installation if not careful. If you take your time with the installation, you’ll be very happy with quality. I bought 4 systems for my master closet. Two with doors and drawers and two with open shelves and drawers. I love the quality of the product. Instruction booklets are thorough but the videos are outstanding really helpful. I designed my own configuration. There are 6’ double hanging racks on a wall that isn’t pictured. I have 8 and 10” drawers on each tower. The drawers are nice and roomy. You need to read the product description carefully to know exactly what you are getting. The good: these are solid wood organizers, and they feel sturdy and of good quality. They are all modular, so if you order more than one, as we did, you can mix and match drawers to customize the ratio of drawers to shelves. Also, you can build it in multiple configurations to match your needs and closet size and shape. They do look great in the closet. Now the not so good: First of all, if you’re hoping for a nice ash blonde color like the photo, you’ll be disappointed. These units are ORANGE. They’re fine, it’s not a dealbreaker, but wow, what a difference from the photo. Another con is that if you buy multiple units of different types, get ready for a major puzzle solving challenge. The drawers are shipped in separate boxes and there are no labels on the boxes or information on the John Louis website that tells you which box goes with which unit. Wayfair customer service couldn’t help at all. Our confusion was compounded by the fact that when we finally figured it all out, we discovered that two drawers were missing from the shipment. Finally, you have to be pretty handy to assemble them. My husband is a fine woodworker and even for him there was a long learning curve on the first one. He also had trouble attaching the drawer glides—the small screws didn’t sink in straight and continually drifted off the grooved guides on the sides of the drawers. It might be that the wood grain has soft and harder bands so the screws naturally drift into the softer areas. The first drawer took forever to fit to the frame and when we finally got it in, the soft close mechanism didn’t work. But the second drawer seems to work as promised.. Anonymous. IL.
