These velvet hangers have the right look for my boutique. I ordered them in an emerald green color and I love them. They are not flimsy, but they are not that stout either, which is fine for hanging delicate items on. I would not hang heavy jackets on them as they might eventually bend. The velvet coating on the hangers does not fluff off onto my clothing, but I did notice that it can get scuffed if you are hard on them.
