I chose the 12x4 ft metal lean-to shed with open sided pergola 2-in1 durable garden tool shed with lockable door and vents in black and white. Ot arrived well packaged and without incident in two packages. It took approximately three days to assemble with the very many pieces. Even though it includes some basic tools, we made better time with power tools. Probably the most frustrating part of the assembly was the tiny picture drawing. The instructions seemed correct, but it didnt give clear drawings where it mattered. Like which steel tbe faces up and out. - because the hole pattern matters. I wasted a small bit of time during assembly. The other difficult part was putting the thing down on a level ground or pad. If you like pealing stuff, youll love peeling off the protective layer plastic. Some people say leave the plastic on white assembly to protect from scratches, but then your struggling to peal it off from all the intersecting seams and fasteners. It was WAY better removing the plastic first before assembly - just go slow and careful. Ultimately, it turned out great! The photo shows it being large enough to have chairs or grill cart under the pergola, but no, its not. Maybe if you are under 4ft tall. I had to raise mine to fit my grill.. Michael. TX. Its compact design fits perfectly in small yards, while the sturdy resin construction withstands all seasons. Enjoy a clean, practical outdoor area with little to no maintenance required.

Patience is a virtue - I was able to put this shed together by myself in about 10 hours. Picture instructions were 90% adequate however there were some steps I had to really focus on the drawings to determine where the pieces fit - inside/outside position grooves. Some of the screw instructions were not as clear as I would have liked. Definitely use a drill to help screws go in cleanly and keep closer to the outer edges to ensure screws actually go into walls. Having a second pair of hands during the wall & roof installation would have been less taxing physically. Screws for door hinges have no spares and as 2 of the 24 provided did not fit really well and I ended up stripping one of them and the other was only able to tighten half way I would have like the floor to be a bit firmer than it is. And the sizing is more 4.5 ft x 2.5 ft which was a bit of let down as I wanted to fit my current shelving units on both sides. I also would have liked a middle roof bracket to give it more stability for the door opening, plus I think it would have helped make the roof installation a bit easier.. Christine. North Saanich, BC. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 6 x 4 metal shed is a great DIY outdoor storage. We are using it to store my son’s outdoor toys, plus adding any miscellaneous stuff in order to open up space in our garage. It’s a small shed, but you can really make the best out of the space. It has a sliding door for easy access, and vents to help circulate airflow in the shed. It took us over 4 ours to build; we might have been a little slow because there were some difficulties in lining up some of the premade holes that made us struggle a bit. When putting it together, I feared it would be too flimsy but as we finished building it, it was much more stable. However, we are going to secure it to something as a precaution because I’m not too confident it would survive the Santa Ana winds. We are placing it on the side of the house for easy access and also to avoid harsh winds.. Jessicag. Tue Mar 17 2026
