Great storage system for small closets! We were originally trying to find a short dressed to fit in this shallow closet but this was a way better solution and much better use of vertical space. It was a lot sturdier and heavier than we had imagined which was a nice surprise. We had bought the add on top shelf to extend the upper shelf space but realized our closet wasn’t tall enough to accommodate it which is fine and now we have this small hidden storage spot on top. It’s nice that they offer the add ons but we will be returning the extra shelf since we can’t use it. This was also a great price on sale compared to other closet storage options.. Sydney. Pretty sturdy piece! I combined it with the corner shelving unit and rearranged the rods & shelves to fit my closet. It is definitely solid and I like that the pieces don't really dent or scratch. Making marks on the wood pieces with pencil is the way to go, because it'll just wipe off!. Sara. Carlisle, PA. Mon May 18 2026

1. Easy to install and remove. If you want to accommodate heavier and more clothes, it is recommended to connect to the wall for installation to increase the load-bearing capacity. 2. More ways to install and use spaces and walls of different widths, while having more usable space, 6 oversized drawers can accommodate more sundries. 3. 14 shelves including multi-layer bag display shelves make the shape more beautiful and make it easier to build a private wardrobe. 4. The open clothes hanging rod can hang more clothes at the same time, and it will not cause problems such as mold in the clothes due to the closed space. 5. A shoe-wearing bench is attached to facilitate wearing and taking off shoes at the wardrobe rack, which is more convenient for matching the whole body shape.

This system was installed for me by a renovation crew working on my new home. I am told that it was easy to assemble and appears to be spacious and sturdy. However, it is not trimmable and was slightly too wide for the space; the website says it can be cut to fit. Fortunately, in this case, the crew was able to modify the drywall to make it fit and also used their own wall anchors.. Elizabeth. TN. Fri May 08 2026

Really nice quality, great finish and nicer drawer pulls. Updated looking and the washed oak matched the picture perfectly. My only concern is the sturdiness of the bars. Where they meet in the middle seems flimsy when fully extended which is why I gave it 4 stars. Well see how it holds up. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, get wayfair assembly.. Mark. Staten Island, NY. 47.2" Closet System, Wood Closet Organizer System with 6 Drawers, Modular Small Walk-in Closets Storage Unit

Perfect for our son’s closet. Very easy to assemble. I bought 2 sets of rods to connect from organizer to wall for hanging storage.. Angelina. Beaver Falls, PA. Tue Jul 14 2026

Freestanding Closet System with 3 Sets, 80.9" Closet Organizer System with 6 Drawers & 4 Hanging Rods, Reversible L Shaped Walk-in Closets, 80.9”L x 31.5”W x 80”H, Load 2000+LBS

This system is amazing and affordable. We measured our space first then, allowed for about 1/2" - 1" differential since our walk-in closet has carpet on the floor. Then, we bought hex bolts to cinch all the units together. We had an extra, odd, number of inches on each side of the closet so we used the bottom corner units' adjustable rod between 2 of the units on each side and were able to hang long dresses, garment bags and suits on those rods. Honestly, the bottom rods in the corner units are ridiculously low, so you can't really hang anything on them anyway. We use those shelved to store odd shaped stuff. We bought 2 of these units, 1 of the 3 piece units by the same brand and one more that has 3 units that are 25" wide each, to house our security camera system. We replaced the pulls and put a chandelier in the closet and everything is gorgeous. These require tools and some elbow grease. The best tool we had was an old Milwaukee cordless screwdriver. Everything went so much faster. The entire closet system took 1 week to build and install. We only did 1 or 2 units per day.. Jean. CA. Wed Sep 16 2026

Maximize your walk in wardrobe with this customizable modular closet system. Mix and match hanging units, shelves and drawers to build a space saving layout tailored to your exact needs.

I thought I could install this freestanding instead of hanging on the wall but it is not made for that. It really was not clearly stated in the description that it would be wall mount only. Be aware the whole back is open and is wobbly when not secured to the wall. However, I needed a specific width and wanted 4 drawers, so decided to keep it and modify it for my needs. I purchased feet to raise it off the floor and a thin board to line the back of the drawers. I then screwed the top shelf piece to the bottom drawers and secured the whole armoire to the wall. It worked well and is now stable.. Nicole. Fri Oct 02 2026

My daughter’s bedroom was built with no closet, which is strange and had used a separate bedroom closet for hanging her clothes. We searched for a freestanding closet but was never happy with what I was seeing out there but finally came to Wayfair and found exactly what we were searching for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t get a pic because unfortunately it did not fit my sons room. However, it was three boxes worth of material and I have to say it is durable! The wood feels super sturdy and stable once nailed to the wall. We are going to figure out how to rework into my sons room because I do think this has alot of potential!. Yazmint. Tue Sep 29 2026
