Wow- this rug did not look anything like I expected from the pictures! I was expecting a hard/ durable/ scratchy low-pile fibers rug. Instead, this one has huge loose loops of cushy rope-like material. Strangely, it's still very soft underfoot and has a plush(!) feeling because of the material, which feels really nice. While I was quite surprised by the product, it is actually completely perfect for the place I planned to put it, which is catching dirt from shoes at an entryway, and the color is true to photo. In fact, I'm considering getting a second.
