I’ve had this rug in my main living area for about a year now and still love it. It’s so soft and looks the same as the day I got it. It’s a nice light color but the mix of cream, gray, and pink help to hide any stains that could happen from daily use. I haven’t bothered getting a pad for it and although I’m sure it would be nice, it has been fine without one. Definitely recommend.
