Nice little charcoal grill and smoker combo. Small and lightweight would be great for camping. Typical iron grill, description says heavy duty but that is misleading. As a charcoal grill, it’s not the greatest as you have to use the lower levels so while cooking you are lifting off 2 giant levels as a lid. The heat distribution is off as well, the first use I thought maybe I didn’t use enough charcoal but had the same issues on second use. Temperature gauge shows temperature up to 400 yet the corn was still frozen in the middle. Perhaps this is beginning user error, perhaps I should remove one level when using a charcoal grill style. Wow! This a really nice smoker/grill. It's soo much bigger than I thought it would be, which is a good thing. It's solid, sturdy, and each level comes apart easily. Assembly was super easy. The smoker is equipped with a side wood chip loader, so there's no need to open the door to add wood chips during the smoking process. This helps to seal in the heat of the food. Adding a box of wood chips will last for 2-3 hours of smoking, which helps avoid the need for frequent addition of wood chips and is perfect for beginners. And smoker equipped with 2 rear rolling wheels and handle, you can move the smoker as you like wherever you want to use it. And when you are finished using it, it can easily be moved to a corner without taking up space of your patio.

As it relates to this smoker I can attest that this East Oak Smoker does an amazing job. If using all 4 racks remember to offset the meat so you can experience evenly smoked/cooked meat. I tested out on a Saturday morning and with in bout 4-6 hours we had some ribs and roast smoked. This works great and was easy to regulate the heat. Bought this grill in November 2020. Just stopped working Jan 2023. Supposed to be 3 year warranty. Have contacted customer support and they responded with more questions but after 2 returned phone messages and three reply emails they are not responding. So far not impressed with customer service. Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great.
