I was pretty close to giving this a 2, but it should be a 5. This is a really good-looking unit, the design is great, the quality of finish is very good, the metal work (folds, corners, etc.) is very good, the drawer sliders aren't cheap, they're above average, the wheels are great, the packaging was excellent with metal reinforced corners. So then what's the problem? The problem is that most of the 100+ screws go straight into sheet metal with no pre-tapped threads. You can see the holes in the 2nd picture. You can see in the 3rd picture what happens when you try to assemble the unit and try to start the screw into these holes in one operation -- they deform and tear the hole, it's very hard to align the pieces and tap these holes (as you first drive the screw) at the same time. PLUS there should be receiving nuts or at the very least pre-tapped holes. This is a TERRIBLE way to build metal products -- the holes are too easy to damage, and once you've damaged them, you will never get the screw to make a tight fit ever again. The 4th picture shows the holes if you just drive the self-tapping screw as a separate step, the holes don't pull up, the threads are cleaner. The workaround, if you accept that it's OK to have the sheet metal act as the receiving nuts, is to very carefully drive all the self-tapping screws in first, making sure to create even, vertical, threads in the receiving metal -- then, yes, it almost all "just" screws together. Even so, they recommend not tightening the screws until the end -- and yes you pretty much have to do that as well because, although the tolerances are really pretty good, they aren't perfect and some holes will not align if everything is cinched down as you go. ALSO, you cannot "snug" any of these screws or they will simply rip their threads and spin in place -- you have to stop driving the screw just as soon as you start getting some firm resistance -- basically: don't tighten, just use enough force to hold everything in place -- together, with all screws just set in place, they work together and it all holds together strong & true. But for an all-metal cabinet, this is some of the most delicate assembly I've ever had to do. So I was --> this close <-- to sending all my ordered units back -- screwing into sheet metal with fine-thread screws and not having pre-tapped holes is just not acceptable for this kind of product -- BUT, these units really are so nice once they are carefully put together (that's why I say it deserves to be a 5) -- if you're OK with the build-it and long-term issues of maybe not being able to tighten all the screws (you also can't just replace all the screws with bolts & nuts -- there are some places that are not accessible for nuts), then these cabinets are worth getting. They're very functional, they work well, they look great. I would also say the instructions aren't the most helpful for the very careful way you need to assemble this. Start by putting in all the 48+ hex screws to make the threads, then you can take them out. Then add the plastic corners, then assemble the top to the sides, then attach that assembly to the bottom, then add the wheels. The rest of the instructions are fine.

I think its a great addition to the abilities that I need to have for my job. I am definitely going to be getting the bigger cousin to this cabinet.

Love this workbench! It took approximately 2 12 hours to build with one person. The drawers space are great. The cabinet space is quite large with a shelf. The cabinet has a key to lock the cabinet area. If you have little kids or you just want keep your stuff locked..it is a nice option to be able to lock the bottom part. It’s only for the cabinet not the drawers. Steel pegboard is a very nice addition. It came with four hooks, but you can add more. It has a handle on the side that we love so we can wheel this wherever we need All four wheels rotate and you can lock them. This is a really great rolling tool bench cabinet. My husband loves it and would recommend it. He says it’s so user-friendly. Thank you, Wayfair! It is something we needed to clear some tool clutter around my home!
